This category is open to KS2 Primary and KS3 Secondary aged students.
Communicate the ideas, thoughts and feelings in the poem, respond to the language and rhythm of the poem with intonation, natural gestures, pace and projection.
The performance can be a favourite published poem, verse or written by the student.
This can be a class ensemble performance, a duo or a solo performance.
It can last only 1-2 minutes in length
There are 2 age ranges
This is either a solo or duo performance.
It can only last a maximum of 2 minutes in length
It is open to students in Year 7, 8 & 9
