About

Lockdown Act Up is an online Festival of Poetry and Drama 2021 for schools.

We are a group of teachers who wish to support each other and our students to develop performance and creative writing opportunities that will inspire, challenge and enrich them in this time of lockdown…and beyond.

Join us in celebrating student performances and writing in poetry and drama.

Lockdown Act Up is a digital platform for students to

  • Participate in performance work
  • Strengthen their understanding and knowledge of poetry and drama monologues
  • Submit their performances to a festival to reach a wider audience

This is a schools’ festival for schools, run by schools.
